Modeling of Access to Health Services in Turkey: The Count Data Models with a Poisson Distribution

In simple terms, access refers to people's ability obtain and use quality health care technologies when they need. this study, data collected by TurksStat, Turkish Statistical Institute, through Turkey Health Survey which was applied across the country analyzed. This survey carried out every two years, for first time in 2008 last 2016. The aim of study is examine level services terms some socio-demographic variables such as gender, age, education, status income between years 2008-2016. results obtained with analysis show that all differ according are statistically significant. According conducted part it concluded that, Turkey, insurance do not constitute a risk factor on services. It thought presence social security system involving whole has an effect result. Considering from point view, countries have strong system, out-of-pocket spending private increase inequalities among segments. Therefore, insurances systems reduce dependence should be developed, indicator income. respect, more research needed evaluated aspects.
